Aetna Health Professions Partnership Initiative - High School Student Research Apprentice Program

Program Attributes: non-credit, salary provided, mentors/advisors provided

Program Acceptance Requirements: class year (open only to 11th and 12th grades), area of residence (Connecticut), disadvantaged status (economically/educationally disadvantaged), juniors at Connecticut schools who have an on-site school-to-career or career-to-work coordinator

Primary Science Discipline(s) Targeted: dentistry, medicine, science (biomed), science (health)

Additional Comments: Applicants must meet all eligibility criteria, and have a high probability of fulfilling the social and educational goals of this program. Primary consideration is given to students who have participated in the University of Connecticut Health Center Health Professions Partnership Initiative.
