Additional Comments: This program is designed to provide participants with in-depth exposure to actual biomedical research; consists of "hands-on" laboratory research with an investigator serving as a mentor, role model and advisor. Participants are matched with investigators whose expertise and interests are closely related to the student's stated research interests and career goals. The program is funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the UMMS Provost's Office. All are welcome to apply.
