The DPAC HBCU Mentoring Program at Johns Hopkins Medicine pairs Hopkins trainees (graduate students, postdocs, residents etc.) with HBCU STEM undergrads. This year we initiated a Virtual Workshop Series aimed at exposing HBCU undergrads to STEM careers and training opportunities. The next workshop, ‘Summer Research Opportunities’ is scheduled for December 8th, 12pm EST. May you please share this opportunity with STEM undergrads at your institution? Past workshops include, ‘Black men in STEM’ and ‘Postbaccalaureate Opportunities’. Next semester we will host : ‘Exploring specialties in Medicine’, and ‘STEM careers beyond MD or PhD’.
