- The CURE Summer Only program is a one-time summer experience for high school and undergraduate students in the Boston area. The program application deadline is February 6, 2023.
- The SPARC program is a one-time summer experience for UMass Boston and local community college students in the Boston area. Applications are due March 1, 2023.
Successful applicants are students interested in pursuing a career in biomedical, biotechnology, life science, data science, or scientific research. Through engagement in mentored summer research projects, participation in an advanced scientific curriculum, and professional skills training, students acquire scientific knowledge and technical skills as well as increase their understanding of how to conduct biomedical research in cancer research environments. We also support students on their academic and career journeys, providing support, guidance, and opportunities during their time in the program and as alumni.
