This summer the School of Global Public Health at New York University department of Biostatistics will be hosting the Pipelines into Quantitative Aging Research summer program. This NIH funded program has been created to address the critical need to innovate the field of aging. Participants of the PQAR program will be introduced to aging-related research through the interdisciplinary framework of public health and Biostatistics. This past summer students from across the nation engaged in quantitative public health methods and worked with GPH faculty to conduct research on COVID-19, vaccination hesitancy, the effects of social determinants and loneliness.
