BCPH Public Health Summer Institute 2023


The Boston Congress of Public Health proudly announces the launch of its Public Health Summer Institute Pre-College Program for high school students. Five sessions of this intensive five-day summer program will take place July-August 2023.

During the five days of the institute, students will dramatically enhance their knowledge of the intersecting fields of public health, health equity, and social justice near the campuses of Harvard University, Yale University, UCLA, and Gallaudet University! 

Ambitious students also will have an opportunity to participate in an additional day of pre-medical topics at the beginning of the institute. Asynchronous versions will also be AVAILABLE!

The Summer Institute schedule is as follows:

  • Session 1: July 12-16, 2023: Near Harvard University campus, Boston/Cambridge, MA
  • Session 2: July 19-23, 2023: Near Harvard University campus, Boston/Cambridge, MA
  • Session 3: July 26-30, 2023: Near Yale University campus, New Haven, CT
  • Session 4: August 2-6, 2023: On the Gallaudet University campus, Washington, D.C.

Pre-Medical Academy Institute Schedule & Curriculum

The Pre-Medical Academy occurs the day before the Public Health Institute. Students will have an opportunity to learn more about topics related to majors in a variety of clinical health fields.
