We seek a highly self-motivated, goal-oriented genomics scientist with broad experience in the application of genomic tools to understanding disease biology. Experience in cancer genomics is highly preferred. The position is in Research and Early Development and sits within the Mechanisms of Cancer Resistance Thematic Research Center. The role includes implementing and running advanced genomics technologies (such as single-cell RNA seq, spatial transcriptomics) with potential to implement functional genomics assays as part of highly collaborative project team. The work will include diverse projects that will impact multiple areas including target ID, asset progression and translational research. There will also be responsibility for project management, training and overseeing other team members, and standard NGS workflows.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a track record of deep knowledge in modern genomics, molecular biology, and next generation sequencing. The candidate will also need to exemplify a consistent drive to learn and apply new technologies to biology-driven questions.
