Program Acceptance Requirements: class year (Junior or senior in good standing academically, with an interest to pursue a career within the health field, especially nursing), area of residence (Attending a New Haven Public Partnership High School), GPA/academic standing (Academically must be in good standing), Must accept and follow the corporations Values, be accountable, respect others, be patient centered, demonstrate compassion and integrity

Primary Science Discipline(s) Targeted: education, pre-engineering, pre-medicine, nursing, pre-pharmacology

Additional Comments: The Yale New Haven Hospital, School to Career Program provides internships in our acute care hospital, exposing interns to clinical and nonclinical disciplines in the hospital, such as nurse, patient care associate, radiology tech, business associate, law, physical plant engineer, etc. They attend an 11 week spring internship and high school and college students may return for a five week summer internship.
