There are several ways to get involved with the Biomedical Science Careers Program (BSCP).

If you are interested in any of the following opportunities, please contact us.

BIOMEDICAL SCIENCE CAREERS STUDENT CONFERENCE
Student Advisors for the Conference

Student advisors are MDs, PhDs and MD/PhDs who are matched to BSCP students (high school to postdoctoral level) for the biennial student conference.

BSCP advisors serve as a source of information and inspiration for the students/fellows.

Students generally are looking for education/career advice and to network.

This is a one-day commitment but several advisors and students remained connected beyond the conference.

Panelists for the Conference and Workshops

Conference Planning Committee for the Conference and Workshops
NEW ENGLAND SCIENCE SYMPOSIUM (NESS)
Poster Judges

Judges are MDs, PhDs and MD/PhDs who review 4 to 8 abstracts in a category of their choice and attend a four-hour award selection session on the day of the Symposium.
SHADOWING/MENTORING OPPORTUNITIES
Physicians and scientists provide a shadowing experience in the laboratory or place of work.

VOLUNTEERING
Volunteers provide assistance in the office in preparation of the conference and symposium.
