The Joint Scholarship Program by MIT Biotech Group and Harvard Biotech Club offers scholarships to high school seniors interested in life sciences. Six recipients will be chosen, receiving funds ranging from $500 to $1,000. Applicants will be asked to submit personal statements, demonstrate an interest in biotech, list extracurricular activities and awards, and provide additional information. The application window is from late January to mid-March, with winners announced in late March. An award ceremony and dinner event will be held in April, connecting winners with MBG and HBC members. Mentorship opportunities and potential sponsor engagement are also part of the program.
