Evening of Hope
An inspiring evening to celebrate the future of biomedical science.
On Wednesday, October 21, 2026, the BSCP community came together for an extraordinary Evening of Hope, celebrating 35 years of talented young people and emerging scientists at the heart of our mission.
We were inspired by our 2026 student speaker Rebecca Louisthelmy, a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate at the University of Maryland College Park, who shared the impact BSCP has had in her life over the last eight years. We also honored George D. Yancopoulos, M.D., Ph.D., Co-Founder, Co-Chair, President, and Chief Scientific Officer of Regeneron with the 2026 HOPE Award for his extraordinary contributions to science and his commitment to the next generation of scientific leaders.
